Next steps for newly admitted students
Step One: Complete Intent to Ernoll: The first step is to complete the Intent to Enroll form.
Step two: Submit Final Transcripts: All accepted students need to submit a final, official high school transcript. If they are a credit student, they may also apply for financial aid, Disability Support Services (DSS) if needed, and the Maryland Dream Act if they qualify. Some programs at the College have additional admissions requirements and/or deadlines, so make sure to check each program for details.
Step Three: Activate Their Account and Determine Placement: Claim your myOcelot account and set up their email account. Depending on their academic history, they may need to complete the Ocelot Guided Placement.
Step Four: Complete Their Orientation and Meet with a Counselor: It is required to complete the New Student Orientation before registering for classes. Make sure to also meet with a counselor.
Step Five: Register for Classes: Log in to MyOcelot, click on "Registration," then choose the icon that says “Register for Classes.” After completing their registration, print their schedule. Pay their tuition and fees, obtain their OU Photo ID, parking permit, and purchase/rent their books from the OU Campus Store.
Attend Class: Once they have completed the above steps, they are all set to attend their classes at Ocelot University
